A popular event is returning for its second year next Saturday at the Adel Public Library.

The Friends of the Adel Library invite everyone to their second annual “For the Love of Soup” fundraiser on February 10th from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. For just a free-will donation, attendees can partake in a wide variety of soups and desserts. Don’t forget to bring some pocket change as well, because you can use it to vote for your favorites. The winner of the contest will get a travelling trophy. All proceeds will benefit the Friends group, which helps pay for programming at the library.
