February 9th

1:55pm: Officers responded to the intersection of North High Street and West Washington Street. Freddie German of Jefferson was driving his 2012 Chevy Equinox westbound on West Washington Street and was attempting to turn into a driveway in the 800 block. Nicole Murphy of Rippey was driving behind German in her 2004 Volkswagen Passat and attempted to pass him as he began slowing down to make his turn. Murphy Struck German’s car on the front driver’s door, causing $4,000 in damages to his car and $1,500 to her own. Murphy was issued a citation for Unsafe Passing.

7:32pm: Jade Bedel spoke with an officer about a crime that occurred in Fort Dodge. She was directed to the Fort Dodge Police Department.

8:26pm: DJ Bumgardner and Nick Webber reported being harassed by Jason Fox.

10:01pm: An officer responded to the 300 block of East State Street for a parking complaint.

Saturday, February 10th

1:23am: An officer located an open door at 300 West McKinley Street.

4:35am: An officer responded to 802 West Lincoln Way for Burglary to a vehicle and garage. The officer is investigating.

6:19am: An officer assisted Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 700 block of South Chestnut Street.

11:55am: An officer assisted with removing a bat from a residence at 400 East Washington Street.

12:07pm: An officer completed a welfare check at 102 East Monroe Street.

12:09pm: An officer responded to the intersection of West Harrison Street and South Vine Street to remove square bales that were in the roadway.

1:01pm: Officers completed a welfare check at 407 South Olive Street.

2:46pm: As a result of a Traffic Stop in the 400 block of East Lincoln Way, Frances Kelly,

4:43pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Clark Street, James Harris of Jefferson was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended. James also had outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrants for Domestic Abuse Assault and Violation of a No Contact Order. In the vehicle with James was with Brittany Smith, also of Jefferson. Both had a No Contact Order in place between the two. Brittan Smith (30) and James Harris (30) were both additionally charged with Violation of a No Contact Order. Both were transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center.

6:35pm: Justin Lopez was arrested at 308 North Pinet Street for an outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear.

8:10pm: James Woods spoke with an officer about a civil issue.

Sunday, February 11th

1:53am: An officer responded to 777 Wild Rose Lane for a lose dog.

12:09pm: Staff at the Cobble Stone Hotel (771 Wild Rose Lane) spoke with an officer. They had reported a strong odor of marijuana coming from a room on the third floor of the hotel. Officers walked by the room and could smell the odor originating from Room 317. Officers executed a Search Warrant at 1500 hours. Officers could smell marijuana, but nothing illegal was located in the room.

12:34pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 600 block of West Lincoln Way, Mayra Hernandez of Jefferson was issued a citation for Fail to Display Registration Plate.

4:00pm: An officer responded to the Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room (1000 West Lincoln Way) for an upset patient.

5:28pm: An officer responded to the Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room (1000 West Lincoln Way) for an abandoned 911 call. It was determined to be a mistake.

5:32pm: An officer assisted Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 1000 block of North West Street.

9:05pm: An officer responded to the Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room (1000 West Lincoln Way) for a patient that became aggressive with staff and kicked a monitor. The patient left the hospital prior to an officer arriving. Staff at the hospital did not wish to pursue any criminal charges for damages.

9:21pm: Bayllie Flinn reported a theft of clothing.
