A reminder that the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association annual banquet and trophy auction is taking place later today.

It will be at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds starting at 6pm with a social time. The prime rib meal will be served at 6:30, followed by the live auction. Along with the livestock trophy items, there are also various prints and other items specifically for their scholarships that are awarded every year to graduating high school seniors.

Other proceeds will go back to the Cattlemen to support projects throughout the year, including: 4-H and youth activities, as well as participation in beef promotions at the county, state and national levels.

Tickets are $20 per person and will be available at the door.
