The bitterly cold start to April in central Iowa continued Tuesday and kept multiple West Central Valley spring sports teams from competing.The Wildcat boys track team was scheduled to take part in a meet at East Union High School before the district canceled it due to a winter weather advisory. The West Central Valley varsity and junior varsity boys soccer teams had a road trip to Bondurant planned yesterday for a nonconference match versus the Bluejays of Bondurant-Farrar. The winter-like forecast forced the matches postponement, and the districts will try to make up the game on Tuesday, May 15. No Wildcat spring sports teams compete today. Weather permitting, the West Central Valley boys and girls golf, boys & girls soccer, and boys track are all scheduled to return to competition Thursday.
