A reminder for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn juniors, seniors, and their dates: the school’s Enchanted Forest-themed prom is tonight.

Attendees should have purchased their tickets by now, but anyone who hasn’t can still get them at the door for $20. The evening will start with the grand march from 7:15-8 p.m. in the north gym. That will be followed by the dance, which will run until 11 p.m. in the middle school commons. During the dance, juniors and seniors will be asked to select two of the eight nominees for prom king and queen, which will be announced towards the end of the dance.

The after prom party will then follow, with locations around Adel. The theme is “Candyland,” and there will be festivities at the high school, the old middle school, and the Adel Family Fun Center. There will be shuttles to take attendees to each location. Activities include: casino games, an escape room, bowling, and a hypnotist show. Check-in will be from 11:30-midnight, and after prom will conclude at 5 a.m. Sunday.
