The Guthrie Center School Board met in a special session Friday.

The Board approved a 2.21% increase in teacher salaries for the 2018-2019 school year. The increase equates to an additional $850 in base pay for the teaching staff. The Board also approved coaching changes for both girls volleyball and basketball. Lyndsey Noe has resigned as the head girls volleyball coach. The Board approved Dan Baker and Trevor Irwin as the next coaches for girls basketball and volleyball, respectively. The new coaching hires are still subject to Adair-Casey Board approval next month.
