The West Central Valley School Board will meet in regular session tonight.
Tonight will be the final board meeting with outgoing Superintendent Dr. David Arnold. Arnold is retiring effective July 1st, after thirteen years at West Central Valley. Incoming Superintendent Lance Ridgely will also be in attendance. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm with a special session to discuss district insurance for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
During the regular meeting starting at 7pm, the Board will discuss member Christine Stiles’ resignation and replacement. Stiles is resigning her position due to moving out of the district she represents. The Board will have 30 days to name a replacement. Other action items include: an overnight trip request, milk and bread bids for the 2018-2019 school year, a teacher sharing agreement with Earlham Community Schools, salary recommendations for the upcoming school year, and a possible change to Board meeting locations.
The meetings will be held at the Dexter Elementary Library.
