There are several events coming up next week provided by the Greene County Medical Center.

On Tuesday, July 10th is a community blood drive with the LifeServe Blood Center of Iowa. It will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson from 12:30 to 5:30pm. Walk-ins are welcomed, otherwise you can schedule an appointment by calling 800-287-4903. Also on Tuesday there will be a free Diabetes Support Group meeting from 3 to 4pm in the medical center’s education classroom. The topic will be “Dental Health and Diabetes” and it will be led by Dr. Keith Van Beek of Jefferson Family Dentistry.

Finally, on Thursday, July 12th the Greene County Public Health Department is hosting a special immunization clinic from 4:30 to 6:30pm. It is a requirement for all school immunizations for incoming kindergarteners, seventh and 12th graders before the start of the 2018-19 school year in August. Call 386-3228 for information.
