The Stuart Chamber of Commerce is putting their own spin on a holiday tradition this season beginning this Small Business Saturday.
Chamber Director Brenda Dudley explains the new promotion happening this holiday season, “The Chamber itself is starting a – we’re going to call it – ‘Stuart, the Egg on a Shelf.’ And if people are familiar with the Elf on a Shelf it’s going to be similar to that. So we are going to take our little egg and we’re going to go from business to business have it there about two days, customers can come in, find the Egg on the Shelf, and enter to win door prizes.”
Stuart the Egg will be visiting several Chamber businesses from Saturday through December 25th and Chamber buck prizes will be given to three drawn names from a raffle. Another Chamber event happening Saturday is the Craft & Vendor Show taking place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 105 Northwest 2nd Street next to Stuart Appliance. Vendors can participate free of charge and can contact Sarah Gomez via phone/text 515-249-3107, or sgomez52268@gmail.com to sign up.
