Rain, rain go away is a wish of many Iowa residents and especially after the thunderstorm that hit Monday.
The Middle Raccoon River in Bayard was above flood stage once again this week after more than an inch of rain fell on much of Guthrie County Monday. The water has since receded, bringing levels back below flood stage.
In case of heavy rainfall, it is always good to seek high ground and wait for the waters to recede. Also stay away from standing water and any downed power lines.
Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you up to date weather and warnings as they are happen.
