At the meeting Warren Cultural Center executive director Ken Sidey, gave a presentation about upcoming performances and had business sponsor sheets for area businesses that want to sponsor any upcoming events.
President of the Guthrie County Arts Council, Lynsi Pasutti, informed the Chamber of plans to work on compiling ideas for Small Business Saturday after Thanksgiving. Pasutti mentioned that she is going to work with American Express who heads it up nationally to do special things in Stuart to support small businesses.
Audrey Gomez was welcomed as the new owner of Johnie’s Tap in Stuart. There will be a ribbon cutting and an ‘after hours’ event in September with details to be provided at the next meeting.
Chamber of Commerce Secretary Tiffany Johnson, encourages everyone to come out to the next meeting, “Our next meeting is going to be Wednesday September 4th at Foxy’s Den at noon and we’d love to have any businesses come, or even community members can join us at any time. We’d love to have input o those type of things.”
