Greene County head wrestling coach Zach Beekman will watch his team tomorrow and again on Saturday against high level competition. The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio he’s looking forward to seeing what the Rams can do Thursday in Monroe vs. Class 2A number one ranked PCM, along with South Hamilton (Jewell), then on Saturday at the South Hardin Tournament in Eldora.

The coach said, “Going down to PCM, you’ve got a couple of good duals down there. But really, the South Hardin Tournament is going to tell us where we’re at. One, we’re either going to go there and get our eyes opened up a little bit to realize we’ve still got a lot of work to do in the next couple of weeks, or we’re going to go there and see if we can be competitive. Either way, we’re going to get something out of that tournament.”

The Rams are 13-7 in dual meets and are coming off a team title last Friday in Alleman at the North Polk Round-Robin Tournament.
