Funeral services for May Catherine Axtell, 83, of Madrid, will be Thursday, February 28th at 10 am at the Bethel Church in Boone.  Burial will be in the Granger Cemetery near Logan.  Visitation will be  Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry.  Memorials may be given to the Awana’s at Bethel Church or the Telephone Pioneers and may be left at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at carrisfuneralhome.com.  Survivors include:  Daughter, Linda Tingwald of Woodward.  3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Siblings, Betty Vollers, Judy Smalley and Jerry Fox.
