Greene County youth that are in fifth to eighth grade are invited to learn about being a responsible babysitter with Greene County Extension.

A Babysitting Basics class will be held on March 20th from 8:30am to 3pm at the Extension office in Jefferson. The course will include: what employers expect, how to entertain kids of different ages, handling emergencies and guest speaker presentations from public health, law enforcement and other agencies. Cost to participate is $30 if you register by today, otherwise it will be $40. Each participant will receive lunch and a goodie bag with useful information.
