Perry graduate Maggie Lowe played in her final game at Wayne State this past weekend in Sioux Falls.  The former Perry star closed out her most successful season to date starting every single game for the Wayne State squad.  Maggie finished her career with over 100 3-pointers to go along with a top 12 finish in conference steals.  Lowe played in over 120 games during her four years at the Nebraska University.  Maggie is the daughter of Biddy and Tom Lowe.

118 career games.  36 career starts.  Career high 17 points vs. Minnesota State Mankato 2/16/19.  Made her 100th career 3-pointer against Southwest Minnesota State 2/22/19 . Ranked 11th in steals last year in the NSIC.  NSIC Winter All-Academic Team (16-17).

2017-18: Saw action in all 32 games with eight starts at point guard…averaged 5.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per game while leading the team in steals (46) and second in assists (84)…ranked 11th in the NSIC in steals per game and had three games of double digit scoring…scored season high 15 points, going 5-8 from the field and 4-6 from the three point line vs. Young Harris (Ga.) on 11/3/17…had 13 points and four assists at Sioux Falls (12/30/17) and scored 12 points at MSU Moorhead (1/13/18)…had at least one assist in all but two games with season high six vs. Wisconsin Parkside (11/5/17).

2016-17: Played in all 30 games as a reserve guard, averaging 2.6 points per contest…shot 35.1 percent from the field (26-74), 34.7 percent from the 3-point line (17-49) and 60 percent (9-15) at the free throw line…scored season-high 12 points, going 3 of 6 from the 3-point line, at the University of Mary (12/9/16)…produced nine points and three assists vs. Upper Iowa (2/17/17)…also had nine points making 3 of 4 3-pointers vs. Minnesota State (12/2/16)…selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2015-16:  Averaged 1.8 points, 1.1 assists and 0.6 rebounds per game while playing in 28 games as a reserve point guard…shot 15-47 from the field (31.9 percent), 10 of 29 behind the 3-point line (.345) and 10 of 14 (.714) at the free throw stripe…scored season-high nine points going 3 for 3 behind the 3-point line with six assists playing season-high 21 minutes vs. York College (11/19/15)…scored seven points vs. Winona State (2/19/16)…had five points and four assists at Concordia-St. Paul (1/9/16)…handed out four assists vs. William Jewell (11/14/15) and at Concordia-St. Paul.

High School:  Graduate of Perry High School in Iowa…was a four year starter in basketball and volleyball, also running three years in track and playing one year of softball…averaged 14 points, 6.95 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.77 steals per game during senior season, helping team to 15-8 record…post-season honors included Iowa Newspaper and Iowa Girls Coaches Association Class 4A Third Team All-State honors…during junior season, averaged 11.5 points, 6.33 assists and 2.16 steals per game to earn Iowa Class 4A Third Team All-State honors from Iowa Newspaper and Iowa Girls Coaches Associations…also earned Academic All-Conference honors in all sports played.
