It may be April Fools Day, but the Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer teams from ADM High School know that the scrimmages are over and after tonight’s games versus the Carroll Tigers, ADM would like to say “Joke’s on you.”

Carroll served as the opening opponent for both the ADM Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer team last season, and sacrificed itself to the hometown Tigers, as Carroll was shutout in both games. 11-0 in the Girls’ game, and 6-0 in the Boys’ game.

Boys’ Coach, Bill Shields, and Girls’ Coach, Kelsey Gaffney, both know to never take your opponent for granted, but sometimes getting your kids to play at a level of expectation can be difficult when facing an opponent, that historically, has struggled.

ADM looks to come out firing on all cylinders, as the season officially begins tonight for the Boys’ and Girls’. Gaffney’s girls get the fortune of starting their season at home, tonight’s Girls’ game will get started at 7pm in Adel, while the Boys’, also, start 7pm on the road in Carroll.
