A Bayard man faces a probation violation after being charged with third degree burglary, a class D felony.

Court records show 23-year-old Brandon Richard Potter allegedly entered an occupied structure with the intent to commit a felony assault or theft in Bayard on March 17th. Potter was sentenced for one year of probation last December for one count of possession of marijuana, first offense. A warrant was served for Potter’s arrest this week.
