Much of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area saw changes in unemployment last month.

According to Iowa Workforce Development, Dallas County had a 0.1-percent decrease in unemployment from February to March to 1.8-percent. As for Guthrie County, there was a 0.1-percent increase of unemployment in March to 3.8-percent. Greene County remained the same last month with a 2.2-percent unemployment rate.

Iowa’s unemployment rate for March was 2.4-percent and the U.S. unemployment rate was 3.8-percent.
