The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce will host the next event in their Rock’N Friday summer concert series this Friday.

The public is invited to take in a free performance by the band Ducharme Jones, which will be playing on the Adel Stage and Pavilion from 7-10 p.m. The venue is located at the corner of 10th and Main Street in Adel. Chamber Vice President Rebecca Hillmer says Rock’N Friday is an opportunity for people to get outside for some free entertainment, while also getting to know those in the community. “It’s just a good chance to have people go out and meet their neighbors, or meet somebody that could have been their neighbor from the other side of town that they wouldn’t necessarily have a chance to meet. It’s a good social thing, and the kids seem to have a lot of fun too.”

Hillmer points out that attendees are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, though alcoholic beverages are to be confined to the Pavilion area and glass bottles are not allowed.
