The Churdan Public Library is hosting two Halloween events leading up to the holiday at the end of the month.
Youth Services Director Marilyn Tilley says tomorrow starting at 9:30am, all fifth graders and younger can join them for fun games, crafts and food. Plus, feel free to wear your costumes that day. And anyone older can help out.
Then on Wednesday morning at 9:30am, any child five years and younger may participate in preschool story time. Then all the little ones will trick-or-treat at several area businesses. Tilley points out that if it is raining on that day, trick-or-treating will be indoors at the library in the community room.
Both programs are free and are sponsored by Communities 4 Children and Community Partnerships for Protecting Children neighborhood/Community Network Mini Grants.
