In light of November designated as Diabetes Awareness Month, the Greene County Medical Center is offering a free “Healthy Holidays” diabetes informational meeting tomorrow.

All ages are invited to the free event to learn more about how to manage your stress and eating habits and gift shopping with diabetes in mind during the holiday season.

Community Relations Director Carla Offenburger says the hospital provides services like this through the Diabetes Management Department several times a year and this would be one of the final meetings of the year to help support people with diabetes.

The diabetes management staff will be conducting the support group meeting and its intended to help those who have diabetes how to better manage their diabetes during the holidays.

It will be from 4-5pm on Tuesday at the public health classroom of the hospital and no pre-registration is required.
