07/23 At 1:50 pm, a deputy investigated a domestic dispute in Grand Junction, charges are pending after the completion of the investigation
At 2:08 pm, a deputy was called regarding using another’s personal information in Scranton but it is an on-going civil dispute
At 9:30 pm, a deputy checked careless driving eastbound 220th from Grand Junction but did not locate the vehicle
At 10:18 pm, a deputy along with Scranton Fire responded to a pickup on fire at Brown’s Bridge north of Scranton, the 2000 Ford F150 owned by Ann Lehnhoff of Grand Junction was a total loss
07/24 At 5:01 am, a deputy checked the report of a suspicious person on 220th Street several miles east of Jefferson; it was found to be a bicycle rider
At 3:41 pm, a deputy checked a residential alarm in Scranton
At 6:11 pm, a deputy checked the report of some kind on an animal in a furnace fan in a Scranton residence, deputy found it was a bat and removed it and set it free
At 6:21 pm, a deputy checked careless driving by two motorcycles eastbound 220th from Scranton, deputy located and stopped the bikes and issued warnings
At 9:53 pm, a deputy conducted a security check of a residence in Grand Junction after a neighbor reported lights were on in the home while the occupants were away, house was found to be secure
07/25 At 6:51 am, a deputy investigated a property damage crash on 220th west of S Avenue that remains under investigation
At 8:53 am, a deputy investigated the theft of a bicycle from Grand Junction. A short time later a Jefferson officer found the bike at a residence in Jefferson, the matter remains under investigation
At 11:46 am, Douglas D. Shutt, 51, of Grand Junction was booked into the county jail after turning himself in on a warrant for Assault-Simple, charges filed by a deputy after an investigation from 07/20, he was booked and released O/R per warrant
At 1:40 pm, Craig A. Flack, 51, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail after turning himself in on a warrant for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Interference with Official Acts, charges filed by a deputy in connection with an underage alcohol party investigation from 07/15, he was booked and released O/R per warrants
At 3:44 pm, Jessica L. Fox, 32, of Scranton was booked into the county jail after an arrest by a deputy on a mittimus for Failure to Serve Jail Sentence for an OWI 1st sentence, she was released O/R a short time later by the magistrate and has to complete the sentence within the next week
At 8:15 pm, a deputy checked the report of tree damage in Churdan and also that part of the roof on the Churdan Bar & Grill had blown off onto a car parked on the street
At 8:22 pm, a deputy checked the report of a tree down in the 1500 Block of W Avenue; a nearby resident removed the tree from the roadway
At 8:45 pm, deputies investigated a fight in Grand Junction and found three subjects had been assaulted at the trailer court. CORRECTION: A short time later deputies arrested Shannon L. O’Neal, 37, of Grand Junction for Assault-Serious and No Driver’s License, he remains held also on a warrant from GA for Probation Violation for Dangerous Drugs

At 9:47 pm, a deputy replaced a barricade on Hwy 4 in Jefferson on the north side of the railroad overpass that had blown down
At 10:20 pm, a deputy replaced a barricade on 230th Street at S Avenue that had blown down
07/26 At 7:47 am, a deputy checked the report of a dog at large in Grand Junction but it was not located
At 9:05 pm, a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in Rippey that was unfounded
At 9:54 pm, a deputy removed debris from D Avenue south of 120th Street
At 10:45 pm, a deputy checked for a missing juvenile from Carroll in Scranton and found that the juvenile was headed home
07/27 At 1:30 am, a deputy was asked by a Grand Junction resident to check on their daughter who was overdue arriving home but the she returned home a short time later
At 7:30 am, Melissa A. Sanem, 29, of Churdan was booked into the county jail serving a partial Probation Violation sentence
At 9:49 am, a deputy investigated a minor property damage crash on R Avenue near 265th Street after a motorist reported his vehicle was damaged by rocks falling off a county gravel truck that passed him
At 10:03 am, a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in Rippey that was the same complaint as reported yesterday at 9:05 pm that was unfounded
At 4:06 pm, a deputy was advised of the theft of a cow from the 1500 Block of 252nd Street
At 5:56 pm, a deputy was advised of careless driving westbound 220th from U Avenue but the deputy was out of position to respond
At 8:50 pm, Lisa A. Wiederin, 34, of Carroll was booked into the county jail after an arrest and transport by a deputy from a Carroll County deputy on a warrant for Violation of a No Contact Order, she was later released O/R by the magistrate
At 10:54 pm, a deputy responded to a fight at the Churdan Bar & Grill and arrested David M. Hoyle, 26, of Churdan for Assault-Aggravated, Public Intoxication, Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct, he was later released on bond
07/28 At 1:44 am, a deputy assisted Jefferson police with an OWI arrest
At 4:03 am, Mark L. Gorsuch, 18, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police for OWI 1st, Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Alcohol Underage and Improper Registration Light, he was later released O/R by the magistrate
At 8:11 am, a deputy assisted DHS officials with attempting to locate a child for removal in Scranton
At 12:29 pm, a deputy investigated the theft of a Bobcat 250 skid loader, white with a black cab with a two prong bale mover on the front from the 100 Block of 270th Street within the past two days
At 4:43 pm, a deputy investigated criminal mischief to a cell phone that was smashed in Grand Junction
At 6:34 pm, a deputy investigated the burglary to a residence in the 200 Block of 240th Street, it is unknown if anything was stolen
At 9:04 pm, a deputy stopped two four wheel ATV’s riding on the streets in Dana and arrested one driver for OWI
At 10:20 pm, Mark E. Thompson, 44, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police on a Hamilton County warrant for Theft 5th Degree; he was booked and released on bond
At 11:00 pm, Neil C. Pritchard, 37, of Boone was booked into the county jail after an arrest by a deputy for OWI and Driving While Suspended, he was later released O/R by magistrate
07/29 At 7:27 am, a deputy investigated the burglary to The Hill Golf Course where cash, checks and credit card receipts were stolen
At 1:22 pm, a deputy checked careless driving northbound U Avenue from Rippey and located the vehicle on S Avenue near 230th Street
At 4:40 pm, a deputy checked an alarm at the People’s Trust & Savings Bank in Scranton
At 6:04 pm, a deputy assisted Jefferson police with an unattended death
At 8:26 pm, a deputy investigated and cleared a harassment complaint due to texting in Grand Junction
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
