Booker's recent stop in Adel on December 22nd
Don’t forget: a Democratic candidate for President of the United States will be paying a visit to Perry this evening.
New Jersey Senator Cory Booker will kick off 2020 with a meet and greet event at Hotel Pattee. The doors will open at 7 p.m., with Booker scheduled to speak at 7:30. The event is free to attend and open to the public. It will be held in the Canisteo Room of the hotel, and since seating will be limited, RSVPs are recommended. You can reserve a seat by contacting organizer Julia Sherman by phone or text at 281-910-8798, or using the online registration page. Click the link below to access the website.
Booker is one of 15 candidates vying for the Democratic nomination for President. He’s making his third trip to Dallas County and first stop in Perry. As a reminder, the 2020 Iowa Caucuses will be on February 3rd, with two Caucus locations in Perry for Democrats — Perry Middle School for precincts one and three, and Perry Elementary for precinct two and Spring Valley – Dallas — and one for Republicans, at the Perry Public Library.
