The Iowa Department of Public Health has issued a notice of a possible probation of the Menlo Emergency Medical Services Department.
The department’s Bureau of Emergency and Trauma Services published a document Tuesday proposing a two-year probation period and civil penalty of $800 against Menlo Fire and Rescue. The offenses include failure to maintain current personnel rosters and personnel files, having a medical director, maintaining equipment and vehicle standards, and implementing a continuous quality improvement program.
