A severe thunderstorm warning was issued Saturday night for Greene and Guthrie counties, activating the Raccoon Valley Radio Severe Weather Action Team.

The storm reached severe levels at 10:35 p.m., affecting the southern portion of Greene County, as well as the north-central portion of Guthrie. The primary threat of the storm was 60 mile-per-hour straight line winds, though there was no reported damage. The warning was allowed to expire at 11 p.m. Three members of the Severe Weather Action Team took part in the live coverage of the storm, as well as Weatherology meteorologists.
