
There were six more positive tests for COVID-19 reported in Dallas County Sunday, as well as one more in Guthrie.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, there are now 1,269 confirmed cases in Dallas, though 1,013 patients have already recovered. There was no change in the number of coronavirus-related deaths, which remained at 29. In Guthrie County, there are now 66 cases, with 58 recovered and four deaths. The numbers in Greene and Adair counties remained the same Sunday, with 29 cases and 21 recovered in the former, and 15 cases and 12 recovered in the latter. Statewide, the upward trend continued with 320 more positive tests for a total of 31,243 to date. However, there were no new deaths in Iowa, with the number currently at 721.
The IDPH also notes there have been 300,354 negative tests since March, and that 24,674 Iowans have fully recovered from the virus. Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 47 hospitalized patients, with 14 in the Intensive Care Unit, and six admitted in the last 24 hours.
