If you don’t yet have plans for Christmas tomorrow, everyone is invited to Perry’s free community Christmas meal.

Taking place at the Elks Lodge, the annual tradition has grown to serve hundreds of people.  It’s offered free of charge thanks to donations from area businesses, organizations and individuals.

Founder Deb Miller says though the meal is offered for free, it’s not just designed for one group of people, it’s truly a community event that attracts people from all walks of life.

The meal will be served from 11am until 2pm.  Free will donations will be accepted with proceeds from the meal going to support the local food pantry.
