National 4-H Week celebrates the opportunities the program gives for youth to prepare for higher education and careers as they build STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), communication, leadership and other skills.
Guthrie County Extension and Outreach Programming Director Krista Downing says the county will be celebrating 4-H Week while keeping the COVID-19 pandemic in mind with an online trivia night, “So that’ll kind of consist of fun trivia questions that relate to movies, current events, and other various topics. It’s open to everyone, even potential new 4-H members and current members. The teams can be three to five people, and they don’t have to be in the same club or age group.”
The trivia night will be held in conjunction with other county 4-H organizations at 7 p.m. this Saturday. You can sign up by calling Guthrie County Extension at 641-747-2276.
