Still there’s time to reserve your ticket to the second annual History Boy Theatre Company’s dinner theatre production of “Striking 12”.

Co-director Robby Pederson says the musical was written by a New York band called Groovelily.  Based on the story “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Andersen, Pederson says there’s a dual storyline in the production.

With only four cast members, Pederson comments that there’s been one huge challenge to this year’s dinner musical production.

“I think the main challenge with this show, what’s different about it for us, which we always try to do something for our audiences every show, we are playing our own instruments.”

The cast consists of Robby and Angie Pederson, Katie Hoskins and Marty McGinn.  However, Angie Pederson points out that McGinn hasn’t been to a single rehearsal until the night before the first show on Friday.  He’s originally from Jefferson but is a musical artist in San Francisco, California.

Robby Pederson comments that “Striking 12” has comedy and drama and with a meal catered this time by Lidderdale Country Store.

Tickets for the Friday, Saturday or New Year’s Eve shows are at 6pm with the meal served first, then the musical will start at 7pm.  Tickets are $22.50 each which includes the meal and can be reserved by calling 515-370-4306.
