8:37am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the ditch on J Avenue near 250th Street.

10:05am: Jerry Miller 36 of Ottumwa was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

6:06pm: Kaleb Lentz 26 of Scranton was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

Saturday, January 23rd

2:10am: A deputy investigated a car in the ditch on 235th Street West of S Avenue. Kim Mentolaroc 29 of Jefferson missed a curve and went into the ditch. Kim was arrested for operating while under the influence 1st offense and possession or concealing a dangerous weapon while intoxicated. The vehicle was undamaged and is a 2007 Cadillac Escalade.

3:53am: Kim Mentolaroc 29 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense and possession or concealing of a dangerous weapon while intoxicated.

2:44pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near R Avenue.

2:50pm: A deputy assisted an Iowa State Patrolmen on E Avenue near 220th with the arrest of Martenaze Williamson 29 of Carroll who is wanted out of Illinois for failure to appear.

4:00pm: Cole Golay 28 of Coon Rapids was booked into the jail for harassment 3 rd degree, criminal mischief 5th degree, and reckless driving.

4:35pm: A deputy investigated a small ditch fire on 170th Street near Q Avenue.

5:30pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 700 block of South Oak Street, Jefferson.

6:10pm: Martenaze Williamson 29 of Carroll was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

8:13pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 100 block of West Percival Street, Rippey.

Sunday, January 24th

11:08am: A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 100 block of West Percival Street, Rippey.

7:06pm: A deputy investigated a fire on Quaker Avenue near 290th Street that was found to be a controlled burn.

8:31pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1000 block of Irving Street, Scranton.

10:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with the arrest of Shara Anderson 27 of Jefferson and Sheldon Boswell 24 of Boone for violating a no contact order on Grimmell Road and West Lincolnway in Jefferson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
