The City of Perry recently announced a new marketing campaign and a new look for Perry and the response has been positive. 

Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson says people have responded to the new marketing campaign unveiled in Perry. While it has slowly been revealed in ways such as email signatures and newsletters, the response has been promising. 

“A lot of the feedback that we’ve gotten is that the tagline of culture and community thrive here really does a good job of embodying what Perry is all about so I got to give a shoutout to all of the community members that filled out our survey early on in the process to provide us that input.” 

Peterson says the recent rollout is just the beginning of the changing look for Perry. While the website has been upgraded, Peterson says designs are being worked on for Perry welcome signs, billboards and light pole banners.

“Kind of a slow implementation process but trying to be thoughtful and purposeful in how we go about that.”

The new marketing campaign was officially launched in the beginning of February.
