The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will begin with the approval of two firefighters and a recognition of Dean Promes for his 22 years of service to the fire department. The Council will then consider approving an amendment to the lease for 200 East State Street.

The Council will consider for approval a resolution of a bond purchase agreement for general obligation corporate purpose and refunding bonds, as well as a taxable general obligation urban renewal bond. Two public hearings will be held for the City to sell two properties, including 709 West Lincoln Way and 205 North Wilson Avenue, and will consider approving the sales following the hearings. Additionally, the Council will consider approving an economic development forgivable loan agreement to the purchaser, the Funky Zebra for 205 North Wilson Avenue.

The Council will also consider approving the plans and specifications for the 2021 alley reconstruction project, following a public hearing on the topic. Two other public hearings will be held including the proposed property tax levy for the 2022 fiscal year, along with the corresponding budget, and will consider approving both measures following the hearings.
