ADM Tigers girls golf is continuing to get prepared for their first meet of the season in the near future, and hope to have some players step up this upcoming season.
One of the most impressive aspects with the Tigers roster has got to be the participation numbers for this year. There are fifteen golfers on the roster according to Varsity Bound, with two seniors, five juniors, five sophomores, and three freshmen.
The Seniors on the team are Liv Rickert and Anna West, who are two players with varsity experience from 2019, and hope they can see improved numbers from that season. Two of the juniors Emma Mellencamp and Monica Thomas also will have key experience as well, as the Tigers look to be competitive in Raccoon River Conference play.
The Tigers hope that they can have some low scores throughout the season, with key focuses on hitting the fairway, solid approach shots to the green, and putting prowess that hopefully rises this team to state aspirations.
The Tigers believe that improvement could be made this year, and will find out how they look when they kick their season off next Monday in Adel at River Valley Golf Course against Gilbert.
