West Central Valley Boys Soccer coach Jon Boss joined the Gutherie County PM Sports Page this week. Many things were discussed including the Wildcats’ 5-0 win over Van Meter.

Coach Boss was asked about what he’s doing differently this season. He said it was important to focus on the little things. The simple things like fundamentals and other things that would be considered “little things.” He said the reasoning behind this because of how young the team is and how many players are new to soccer at this level. A lot of that is due to not only the amount of freshmen but also sophomores that didn’t play last year due to COVID-19.

The Wildcats will look to go 2-0 today as they take on AHSTW.
