
0720 hrs, The City Parks Dept. reported Criminal Mischief damage at the Kelso Park Shelter House. Subjects had spray painted the fireplace rocks on both sides of the shelter house. Officers will be watching all city parks closely as a suspect is not known at this time.
1601 hrs, Penny Kious spoke with an officer about how obtain a Civil Protective Order. The officer advised her a path to do so.
1624 hrs, Linn Price-Clipperty requested an officer at 204 West Harrison Street, as a juvenile had thrown rocks at her juvenile son. The officer arrived and spoke to all parties and parents of the children and resolved the issue.
1705 hrs, The GCMC ER requested an officer at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street for a patient with a Dog Bite. The officer learned that a female had entered her neighbor’s property and reached over a fence to pet a dot. The dog bit her index finger, causing lacerations to her finger. The officer is working to verify rabies vaccinations on the animal and has placed it in a 10 Day In-home Quarantine period. The officer has given the animal’s owner a time period to become complaint with Animal Licensing Ordinances. The bite was provoked according to ordinance and faces no action, based on ordinances.
1940 hrs, A Traffic Stop at Chestnut and Clark Streets resulted in Royce Gonnelly of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid DL.”
1946 hrs, A Traffic Stop at Elm and American Drive resulted in Katie Wisecup of Ames being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
1956 hrs, A Traffic Stop at 220th and Elm resulted in Toby White of DSM being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
2027 hrs, A Traffic Stop at Pinet and Lincoln Way resulted in Alexis Jordan being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
2102 hrs, Lance Dzuris requested an officer at 305 East Lincoln Way Street for a Domestic Argument occurring there. The officer arrived and spoke to Dzuris and learned the female and kids had left the residence. The officer determined the argument had been only verbal.
