Both the Boys and Girls Track teams competed in Earlham, Tuesday. The Boys finished eighth in the their meet with the score of 40 points. AC/GC took first place with 133 points. Senior Nathan Kalbach was the standout for the Wildcats. He finished fifth in the Shot Put (37-11.00) and he finished fourth in the Discus (102-10.00). He wasn’t the only Wildcat that finished in the Top 5. Sophomore Braiden Beane finished third in the 400M dash with a time of 55.72.

The Girls finished 11th in their meet with 31 points. Van Meter finished first with 103 points. Tasha Williams was a standout yet again for West Central Valley. She finished second in the 100M dash (13.35). That wasn’t her only Top 5 finish she finished fourth in the 200M dash (28.92). Another Wildcat finished in the Top 5, Freshman Ella Sand finished fourth in the 400M hurdles (1:18.84)

The Girls will have a meet Thursday at 4:45PM at AC/GC. The Boys will have a longer break, they won’t have another meet until Monday April 19th.
