
Dallas County Extension and Outreach will be offering a healthy aging series that is set to begin in May.
The free six-week nutrition and wellness series will focus on information and tips to help people remain energetic after age 60. The series will run on Tuesday’s from noon to 1 p.m. May 4th to June 8th at the Woodward Public Library and cover topics such as three meals a day, fruits and vegetables, among other topics.
Participants will do things such as learn about the health benefits of eating well, sample healthy and low-cost recipes, receive menus and exercise guides among other things. To learn more about the program and register you can call the Woodward Public Library at 515-438-2636 or go here.
