Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the three times a week workouts players have been taking part in this month. “We hope by the end of July we’ve knocked out a lot of the foundational pieces to what we’re doing. Whether it’s technique, footwork, stances, things like that, we want a good baseline there, and then we want to have a really solid understanding of what our foundational schemes are.”
The coach added what isn’t included in his goals for the Summer. “It’s not to have every single play or every single structure of our defense installed. It’s to have our main things done, the things we’re going to live and die by. We want to have those things down pretty well so by the time we’re actually starting practice in August, that stuff is second nature to us and we can start developing from there and being more well-rounded.”
Coach Duncan is also the Strength & Conditioning Coach for all grades of students, male and female. He conducts three times a week workouts for those students as well.
