dallas countyIt’s another busy week for the Dallas County Board of Supervisors.

There are several budget workshops planned today as they work through the board’s proposed budget, along with the county budget, operations administration, the sheriff’s office and information technology.

Items on the agenda for tomorrow’ regular meeting at 9am include consideration of an Iowa Communities Assurance Pool renewal, discussion on the space needs analysis and consideration of an Iowa State Association of Counties goal setting facilitation program application.

The board will then consider a resolution in regards to tax suspension, discuss the driver’s license department space needs, hear a Holmes Murphy health plan update, consider resolutions in regards to the road use tax fund, awarding a bid for bridge repair of P58 at the South Raccoon Rover and bridge weight limit postings.

Other discussion items include a homecare services budget request, a mental health and disability service system regionalization 28E agreement and an agreement in regards to the Walnut Creek watershed management authority.

Board appointments will then be made and EMS and juvenile court services budget workshops are scheduled for the afternoon.

The meeting s take place in the Board of Supervisor’s meeting room in Adel.
