As the summer continues to roll on, there are still upcoming events for people to get excited about. 

The first Friday Fest of the year took place in Perry on June 4th and the second event is coming up next month. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the second Friday Fest will take place on August 6th, the day after the new Mini Bike Ride to the Rec. 

“We have a great band lined up called ‘Lil Red and The Medicated Moose Band,’ they will be performing at the Pattee Park Bandshell, 6-9:30 p.m. It is a bring your own basket event and so we just encourage people to look forward to that.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio as of now they are still finalizing what vendors will be at the August event as well as the different activities. She says they have also heard about fundraisers as well. 

“More details to come but you can plan on great music, and a nice evening activity for the family.”

The second Friday Fest is scheduled to take place from 6-9:30 p.m. August 6th at Pattee Park in Perry.
