Dallas Center – Grimes volleyball is continuing to gear up for the 2021 season, and one of the things that they will be trying to change for the year will be finding some new attackers after losing a ton of kills from last year.

The big key for DCG will be finding a way to replace new outstanding strikers in Grace Mikota, who had 309 kills on the season and Lexi Protzman who had 145 kills. Katie Christensen is the top returning kills leader from the Mustangs from a year ago with 51, and she will be hoping to make strides in her senior season.

DCG will also have some young talent that will be waiting in the wings, with the hope of finding some players that can step up and try to match the product left by a great 2021 class.
