A deputy spoke with an out of county caller regarding a domestic civil issue that may occur in Churdan.

A deputy was advised that a vehicle had struck a bridge guard rail and sustained damage on U Avenue near 100th Street. The caller stated that he was southbound on U Avenue and due to blowing snow created by a semi–tractor trailer his car struck the bridge.  The driver of the vehicle indicated that he continued on to work and had left the scene. The deputy spoke with the driver and advised that he come to the Law Enforcement Center at a later time to file the report.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
