Jesse Miller

Jesse Miller is a high school junior standing 6′ 6″ and weighing more than 220 lbs. Miller and his teammates on the football field had an outstanding season and now he transitions to the basketball court where he’s the only real size the Rams have. He’s still growing and Miller talked with Raccoon Valley Radio. “That was one of my main focuses in the off season for any sport in general, but for basketball and football especially, I wanted to get more mass on me. Obviously, I’m the only real, real size on the team, so I need to be able to handle myself in the post. I believe I have the assets to take ’em (defenders) out on the outside, then bully them as well out there.”

Miller is optimistic about the upcoming season. “I think we can be really good and I think it’s all up to us. I don’t think anyone outside can beat us other than us and we’ve just got to put it all together.”

The Rams open the girls and boys seasons this Monday the 29th in Ogden with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow. Both games can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
