The Panorama Panthers boys and girls basketball teams will officially kick off their regular seasons tomorrow as they aim for another successful season for both teams.

Last season was successful for both the girls and boys Panthers basketball teams as the girls saw an overall record of 19-5 on the season while the boys posted an impressive record of 18-5. Both the boys and girls teams saw their years continue into the postseason.

For the Panthers girls team their season ended last year in the Class 3A Region 1 Championship game where they took on a tough Cherokee Washington Braves team falling by a score of 74-46 but the girls will be returning multiple starters this season to make another push in the postseason.

For the Panthers boys team their season concluded when they took on the Van Meter Bulldogs in Adel last year falling by a score of 57-55 in the Class 2A Substate 8 Semifinal game last season. The Panthers boys will look to again be competitive this season and make another run in the postseason.

The Panorama Panthers boys and girls basketball teams will look to get a good start to their seasons tomorrow when they take on the Mount Ayr Raiders with the girls at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m. for their first double header of the season at home in Panora.
