Friday, December 3rd

12:05pm: An Officer placed Tammy Tolsdorf of Jefferson under arrest for valid Greene County warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3rd or Subsequent, Meth / Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

4:13pm: Alex Lerch of Jefferson reported a careless driver in the 800 block of North Elm Street. The vehicle was described as a dark colored truck. The Officer searched the reported area and did not locate the vehicle.

4:32pm: An Officer was called to the front counter of the Greene County Law Enforcement Center to answer civil custody questions involving a child. The Officer answered these questions.

8:57pm: An Officer was dispatched to the Wild Rose Casino to assist in an ongoing investigation involving damaged property. The Officer assisted as requested.

Saturday, December 4th

12:10am: While on patrol an Officer noticed criminal mischief to a restroom door at Russell Park. The Officer is investigating.

6:54am: An Officer preformed a traffic stop near the intersection of North Elm Street and 250th Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Larissa Hornsby of Panora was issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”

7:21am: Mary Norgart of Jefferson reported seeing a dog tied outside without food / water in the 400 block of East Washington Street. The Officer checked the area and did not find a dog outside.

8:31am: The Greene County Medical Center ER requested an Officer to assist with an unruly patient. The Officer assisted as requested.

11:29am: An Officer performed a traffic stop in the 1900 block of North Grimmell Road. As a result of the traffic stop, Steven Reed of Ankeny was issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”

1:05pm: Carol Fisher of Jefferson reported she was trapped inside her garage due to the power going out. The Officer assisted Fisher in opening the door.

2:01pm: An Officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance Service with a medical call in the 400 block of North Oak Street.

2:25pm: Brittany Olson of Jefferson reported a small brown dog running loose near the intersection of Elm Street and Lincolnway. The Officer checked the area and did not find the dog.

6:22pm: An Officer performed a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Lincolnway. As a result of the traffic stop, Kenneth Jones of Perry was issued a citation for “Violation – Financial Liability Coverage”

6:45pm: An anonymous caller reported suspected drug related activity in the 500 block of South Walnut Street. The Officer checked the area and found no suspicious activity.

Sunday, December 5th

7:46am: Aubrey Rossmanith of Jefferson reported an open door on her camper in the 300 block of Sunset Road. The Officer checked the camper with Aubrey and found nothing damaged or missing.

10:33am: Susie Mathers of Jefferson reported Criminal Mischief to her residence in the 500 block of North Maple Street. The Officer is investigating.

 

2:32pm: David Carbon of Grimes reported he owned a property in Jefferson. Several items had been stolen from the outside of the property and Carbon requested extra patrol while he was not in Jefferson. The Officer advised this would be provided.

5:08pm: Ryan Brown of Jefferson reported his minor child was not where he was to be picked up from and asked that the officer watch for him while he continued to look on his own. A short time after this, Brown reported he had located the child.

5:11pm: Ryan Brown of Jefferson reported an assault having occurred earlier in the week. The Officer is investigating.

6:12pm: An Officer placed Robert Fry of Jefferson under arrest for a valid Greene County Arrest Warrant for the original charge of “False Gamblings”.

10::35pm: The Greene County Law Enforcement Center received a report from Rebecca Davis of careless driving. The vehicle was described as a black passenger car with front end damage. The vehicle was reported to be northbound on Elm Street approaching the Jefferson City limits. Officers searched for the vehicle and did not locate it.

10:49pm: While on patrol an Officer located a vehicle having mechanical problems on South Elm Street near the intersection with West Vest Street. The Officer provided traffic control until the vehicle could be removed.
