The Perry School Board approved the 2022-2023 modified supplemental amount for at-risk and dropout prevention at their regular meeting Monday.

The Board approved an application in the amount of $648,364 to provide at-risk and dropout prevention for 2022-2023. Also, the Board approved the 2022-2023 school calendar, double pay for workers for working six hours per event which is currently $35 per event which would then go to up $70 for things such as football nights, Saturday wrestling tournaments and MEGA Night basketball events.

Also, the Board approved the second reading of a Board policy relating to online fundraising campaigns-crowdfunding and approval of revisions of other Board policies.

Finally, the Board discussed early retirement and questions arose such as concerns surrounding patterns and how early retirement being offered is close to becoming a pattern and it potentially turning into a benefit rather than being something that is offered when it works for the District.
