Monday, January 10th

7:56am: Hope Malone requested an officer at 708 West State Street. The officer was advised of Domestic Issues occurring between Malone and her boyfriend. The officer detected the odor of marijuana inside the residence and asked about the smell. Malone turned over numerous items containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia items. The investigation continues.

11:02am: Officers delivered a Death Notification to a Jefferson resident, per the Polk County Medical Examiner’s Office.

1:19pm: Laurie Higgins requested an officer at 304 East Lincoln Way Street for an unruly teenager. The officer mediated the issue.

5:40pm: Curtis Sellers reported an injured deer in the roadway near Elm and Ram Drive. The officer dispatched the animal and removed it from the roadway.

5:59pm: Officers responded to 606 South Maple Street for a reported Domestic Situation. The officers learned that a Verbal Argument had taken place. The officers mediated with the couple, who separated to separate rooms for the remainder of the evening.

10:15pm: An officer assisted family members with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of North Olive Street.
