A Perry man will be honored later this year with a prestigious award.

It was announced by the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association that Perry native J.C. Wilson will be recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Hall of Fame Induction Spectacular on September 1-4. 

This isn’t the first time Wilson has been given recognition from the association as the band The Flying Marsupials, which he was a part of, was inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
