1:56am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of West Reed Street.

2:26am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the building at 600 East Lincoln Way Street.

2:40am: Marion Hoffman reported smoke around the former Middle School in the 200 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer did not locate anything in the area.

10:13am: Casey’s turned in suspected Drug Paraphernalia dropped by a customer at 508 North Elm Street. The officer is investigating.

3:27pm: Dennis Smith reported receiving a Text Message and a Phone Call attempting to extort money from him. The officer advised Smith to block the number is his phone.

4:05pm: Oly’s Corner reported a Gas Drive Off in the amount of $43.20. A license plate number was provided to the officer. The officer made contact with the subject, who advised they would return to the business and settle the debt.

4:30pm: Gary Parker requested a Welfare Check on a subject believed to be living in a vehicle at an unknown location. The officer later located the vehicle at a local motel.

7:33pm: An officer was requested at 810 West South Street for a possible suicidal subject. After speaking to the subject, the officer transported them to ER for a Medical Evaluation.

8:31pm: A Traffic Stop at Harrison and Locust Streets resulted in Jacie Hawthorne of Jefferson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended, Operation without Registration, and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

8:40pm: Ashley Callahan requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 400 Block of North Grimmell Road. The officer spoke to the subject, who was fine.
