The Greene County Conservation Department has a new main office.
Conservation Director Tanner Scheuermann tells Raccoon Valley Radio his office has moved from the Greene County Courthouse to Spring Lake Park reservation office. He explains the reason for moving his office was to give him more office space and allow the County Recorder more space for expansion with passport photos. Scheuermann points out when finding a new office location, Spring Lake Park made the most sense.
“Biggest thing for me is Monday through Friday (at the courthouse) 8(am)-4:30(pm) when our offices are open, I like to be at least available and in the area. Since Spring Lake is kind of our flagship park, that’s typically where I found myself spending most of my time currently and in the future. We do have a small staff, so if somebody needs a hand with something you’re available.”
Scheuermann adds his office number has changed to the new location, which is fully operational, at 515-738-5069.
